Flip Flap
a.k.a. Reversing Flic Flac
TP-USA Tricks Party Definition Group 3
The FLIP-FLAP is a series of alternating forward/backward rotations. From a nose-up position, the kite begins the trick by tilting either forward or backward at least 90° (but not more than 180°). The kite is then alternately rotated forward and backward, each time passing through a minimum of 180°, maximum 360°. The entire sequence—forward rotation plus backward rotation—must be performed at least three times. (If the first tilt of the kite is forward, each repetition is a backward rotation followed by a forward rotation. If the first tilt is backward, each repetition is a forward rotation followed by a backward rotation.) For the best score, the kite should not tilt left or right during the trick.
