I went to the cellar to retrieve the bulk of my kites this evening with a view to trying for a fly in a local park this weekend (I’m not 100% sure if this is allowed or not - but I will give it a go).

Careful, there are people out there who don't approve of this sort of thing!

Oh man! I'm still laughing because of the comments on that article.
I'd say: "do your thing but be aware of long toes and pokey noses...."
remember: amateurs built the ark ..
professionals built the Titanic.

PLEASE......NO TAILS ....

I know! I actually saw that article a few weeks ago when I was thinking about flying during lockdown (thought better of it In the end). But I’m thinking a) golf is now allowed, and b) what’s the worst that’s going to happen *if* someone disapproved? Call the Police? Doubt it really....

Anyway a had a nice session with really awful, gusty, lumpy and fitful wind with a slightly mouldy Skydancer (including the long tails), and a Rev (or 2). Perhaps someone is composing a Facebook/Twitter rant as I type. :D

I grabbed 30 minutes with my Mongoose earlier. Never mind the disapproving masses it was bliss :)
