Andy King

Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:59 am

Andy King, him of the old Kite Store in Neal Street London, has died of a heart attack last Sunday 12th August. He probably sold many of the "elder" members on this board their first proper stunt kite and after the shop closed became the "voice" of quite a few kite festivals.

Another blank space in the sky - very sad. We're all getting old.

About 1988?
The first kite I ever bought there was a UK copy of a Griffin (by Martin Lester I think) in 1992 or '93.
