Kelvin Woods RIP

In case you hadn't heard yet: Kelvin Woods, well-known for his butterfly and Edo kites, suddenly died today.

His kites were real works of art. I'm not sure he had as much respect for trick flyers as we had for his kites though, judging from his behaviour to Mike Fogg and me at Wirrall a couple of years ago. ;)

very sad news indeed, He was a real nice fella to talk to and a mine of information.I've always been a bit of a closet Cody lover and Kelvin was "The Cody guy" before he showed his artistic flair. RIP

Sad news indeed - met him a few times at Cleethorpes Kite Festival where we discussed the Butterfly kite (I had made one as well).
