Ireland / Northern Ireland flyers roll-call

Mon Aug 05, 2013 12:59 pm

While I'm building up interest in flying again, I thought it may be worthwhile taking stock of who flies (or knows of non-forumites) in the general Ireland-ish area. I've managed to lose touch with a few that I knew of in the North Down/Belfast area, and was curious as to anyone else who'd like the option of meeting other flyers.

...just a though, really.

Nope, I hadn't fallen off the map. Although one would be excused for thinking so...

dragonfly, that was really nice watching, it wasn't before the last few seconds of the video, I realized sound wasn't turned on.

Unfortunately I missed Downhill - Didn't find out about it until late, and had other plans. :(

Had been to Portstewart and Redburn kite festivals before, but that was a few years back. Already starting to get back in touch with some others, and seeing if I can convince SteveP to come out of 'retirement'

Hi there, I know this is an old thread but I'm interested in getting in to kite flying. I last owned a kite about 15 years ago. It was a dual line I bought on holiday in Cornwall. Small stunt kite. Eventually a friend lost it up a tree. Oops. Anyway, I live up at the North Coast. Starting to look at options for a first kite.
