Yep - very nice day out indeed.

One or two regulars down but nice to see several new faces today taking part in the Winter League. A great effort by everyone and especially well done to new competitors Angela Green, Richard Greenwood and Kevin (sorry, didn't get a last name). Today wasn't the best wind for a precision competion but everyone had a go and overall a good level of skill on show. Well done to everybody and thanks for making the event sucessful.

Official scores on the doors, then :-

DLI
1 – Ian Parkes (67)
2 – Bryan Beasley (63.5)
3 – Neil Edwards (62)
4 – Dave Green (56)
5 – Stuart Baldwin (53)
6 – Angela Green (47)
7 – Kevin (44)

DLP
1 – Bryan Beasley / Ian Parkes (68)
2 – Dave Green / Kevin (59)
3 – Dave Green / Angela Green (54)
4 – Neil Edwards / Stuart Baldwin (50)

MLI
1 – Richard Greenwood (73)
2 – Neil Edwards (54.5)

A bit of a surprise in the MLP - Richard, who wasn't going to fly because of the light wind, stepped up and produced a fantastic performance. Neil flew brilliantly in response but unfortunately flew the centre circle of MI07 entirely backwards! He saw the funny side though :D

No Trick comp as we started to run out of daylight/wind/people.

Thanks everyone. Look out for another Winter League at the NKG NB Dips fly-in in Feb. 8)
