In my official capacity as transport coordinator for the Purley boys I can say Piero and I will be doing our best to come along with whoever we can press gang into joining us.
Will be nice to meet a few fliers from that neck of the woods.

As far as we (Keith & I) know at this point (being on holiday in Dieppe) the Solent affair is entirely Allans baby and nothing to do with STACK. He is not currently even a member. I dont think there is likely to be much competition so I would say just go ahead; I will be coming (diary willing).

Needs to fly more, now that I can.

OK, back from Dieppe.

Just checked all my emails and there has been no email from Allan informing STACK of his event. It is not sanctioned by STACK, it is a Close Encounters/ Solent Kite fliers thing. Maybe I should copyright the name "Better Flying Day" for STACK?

I think there are enough fliers for both events to happen the same day. After all the Bath one will be much more trick oriented rather than basic flying,

EDIT - just checked and we are unable to be there, we have a previous engagement :-(

Yep. Away this weekend but will post final details Sunday night or Monday and confirm pick up arrangements for my passengers.

Fingers crossed for good weather. 8)

I hope for your sake that it is Emil, have you found a bag for transporting kites on your bike or are catching a lift with Paul? Hold you to the promise of good weather though! :)

I'll be riding to Paul's first. I still haven't got a bag no, I strap all the kites together in a bundle onto the side of the bike, works ok. but I'm not happy with that and should really be using a protective bag, especially now with the wet muddy roads in the winter.

If anybody has a bag they're looking to sell, please bring it along and I'll take a look at it.
