Having to produce kites for many countries I've had to simplify certain things somewhat. The kite safety illustrations are now standard in a kite bag, but also too is the often confused issue of the the LLE bridle point, which applies to both of my designs.

On the back of the safety sheet is this illustration:

If your Talon or Trident's bridle is not below the lower LLE o-ring, then you are not experiencing what I designed!

Correct if necessary, it really does make a difference!

Thanks for the clarification of the bridle points. I was sure this was wrong and so had moved them between the rubber rings! Anyway I have corrected it so now I should be an expert flier......

... or perhaps not, but at least it's as it should be :-)

Finally got round to a minor website update that makes the Vented Talon officially alive.

Not much to see, but I'm polishing up my web skills ready for a new site that's much more streamlined and a lot less 'scrolly'**

Just a little bit of praise again for Marks work. I have had 4 Talons of Mark now and I cant praise them/him enough.

Im getting rid of most of my other kites now, Ive got everything I need. Well nearly, SUL and Super Vent [-o<[-o< Only Jesting :D :D

All 3 Talons fit my flying style, I love em and cant see me buying anything else really.

Anyone who doesnt have one...Get one... Anyone who has one.... Get another.....

Good looking set. One question: why did you reverse the asymmetry of the blue on the vented? (I use asymmetry to help me with the kite's orientation in space and, having one of a set reversed would completely throw me!)

I didnt do it intentionally but I did note it when I ordered it. I liked the way it made it slighty different to the STD. I was going to go with both claws in the darkest blue but I like the style of different shades, especially when flying towards the sun... 8) 8)

Shiny new website up in the usual place.
If any old pages appear just hit refresh or clear your browser cache.

Glad that's over with!

Nice work - looks great, loads of information and everything very easy to find.

My only criticism - and I may be alone in this because of my ancient computer - is that by default it loads too big for my page (1024 x 768, 15" laptop screen) so I either have to scroll side-to-side or zoom out to see all the contents. I don't know much about web design so I'm not sure how it works or how easy it is to implement, but most pages seem to have some sort of shrinkable/expandable horizontal space so they can fit any resolution or aspect ratio. I'm guessing you took the easier option and just designed it with higher resolutions in mind, which seem to be the norm these days. Only a minor problem as I can easily zoom and I actually have a new laptop on order with 1280 x 800 screen anyway as bits keep dropping off this one.

Gotta get me a Talon one day but first was the laptop and now saving up for a house deposit, so don't stop building for a while yet please ;).

Hi Mark,
Toby is right, it's pretty wide. However, in Firefox one can scale the whole thing (text, images, layout) either up or down with ctrl+ or ctrl-. I needed 3 presses before the horizontal scroll bar disappeared.
Toby - do what I did, download Firefox and buy yourself a pair of reading glasses
