Bristol Trick Out 2013

Thu Aug 29, 2013 7:50 pm

Just an idea you know, putting it out there. We've done it before...

Sunday afternoon. 2PM with no wandering around the field looking for people. ;-)

What usually happens is that I bring the FA Beanie of Fate (If I can find it) and do the commentary. Keith brings the boom box and Mike does the music if there's no broken bones to contend with.

I'll do some sustificates. ( ;-) @ Mike) and bring Jaffa Cakes, but I wondered perchance if anyone had time before Sunday to get that ace new Logo Dave has done printed onto 3 T-Shirts maybe at a local print shop (I'll be working until end of play Saturday, so no time). 1 for the winner and a couple drawn at random from all the entrants. £2.00 each entry should cover it, but if not I'll pay the outstanding.

Bristol have a 3rd arena this year - where the trick-out usually is. This is intended to be mostly for sport kites, split between the power kite chaps (who will be doing passenger rides I believe) and STACK. It would be great to hold the trick-out in this arena - we will need to liaise with the buggy guys but I wouldn't expect there would be any problem.

Gonna be light wind anyways - powerkiters wont be up to much.

Do you think we might get a few 'Ins' to work with? Else it'll be a bunch of leg-work for the usual culprits for not much reason.

Hard to gauge. I'm happy to judge and/or help, other then when we are demoing. Shame not to use the nice arena I spent some time putting up earlier today :-)

Must have made at least 40 phone calls on this, no one round my way could do it at such short notice, quite fancied one myself

I will take another run at it, for order I think, something like this?

:D

and 'Damn'

I'll take a lg black one of them anyways. Nice work.

Usual enthusiasm and gusto otherwise, so I'll bring 1 pack of Jaffa's and a clip board just in case and a couple of kites to fly. ;-)

Looks good.

There's a bit of the 0 in the top left missing. Did I accidentally miss this in my files?

If you can tell me the colours of the shirts I can adjust to suit if you want.

So who won the trick out? I'm guessing Chris smashed it with the SF
