Info off the NKG site:

The August fly-in is this Sunday (21st) at Fleetwood Beach in Lancashire.

The fly-in is on the beach directly in front of the Hang Time Kite shop.
There is a free car park behind the kite shop.
Toilet facilities are available at the kite shop and there is a small cafe next door as well.

For anyone who hasn't been before it's a great flying site & well worth a visit.

Directions:
Exit the M6 at the M55 Jnct (signposted Blackpool). Take the first exit from the M55 (signposted Fleetwood). Follow road until you get to traffic lights and follow signs for Fleetwood. Continue into Fleetwood town centre and follow signs for the promenade & Marine Hall. The kite shop is right by the beach, and usually has a number of flags and banners flying to make it easy to spot from the road.

Postcode for you satnav users is FY7 6QE

Hopefully Simon or Gaz will be along soon to tell you what time they are heading up there.

You did'nt factor in getting stuck behind a camper van on the M62 did you! :P

Great day, nice to see Simon again & meet Ian & Tim. A blustery day but nice when the sun came out!

So... who broke the most kites?... :-"

Someone's going to be wondering why a particular lamp-post is at a slightly different angle to the rest - damn did that thing clang when I 'gave my kite a rest on it'.

And Gaz - our lass wants to know why i smell like a bbq.

Great day - cheers fella's.

Technically I only broke one kite... twice!

Sheffield... let's get it sorted soon. I'll bring some bacon and we can smoke it in the engine bay!

Good to meet Gaz, Simon and Ian. A tad windy but at least I know it's me and not the kite!!! Cheers for that Gaz!
Sorry to here about the kite damage, hope nothing too serious.
Ian, I'll keep an eye out for that bent lamppost!
Thanks again all
