Brighton Kite festival

hi all,

anyone got plans for brighton kite festival this year. Who's going down friday, Saturday or just Sunday?

Anyone know what is the latest you can arrive on Friday night to pitch a tent in the top field. ( before they close the gate that is)

Was there on Saturday. Difficult wind for the fliers (very gusty, the wind going from >25mph to virtually nothing, and back to >25 mph in a couple of seconds), but they coped admirably.

What was very nice is that, after the cancellation of the Southampton Kite Festival, the David Davies / Skydancer tribute fly that was planned for Southampton now happened here.

Yep, me and my son had a great time. Tao enjoyed the kite making workshop then running around the hill side with his kite.
Was fun. :D
