It was lovely to see Sub there, so far from home, and lots of others of course, but he deserves special mention 'cos it was rubbish conditions for bike riding.

Of course it was rubbish conditions for kite flying too, very rarely have I flown in as lumpy bad, we needed those mythical beasts, the vented ultralights!

But it's just such a chilled out festival!
Love Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Needs to fly more, now that I can.

Sorry to all of you for not attending.

Had a call from a work colleague at about 9am who had been called to a site out of our normal area and got into one hell of a pickle. I just had to drive to Plymouth to give him a hand.
Simple reason--He would do the same!
Apologies to Close Encounters (Were to crew) and Airheads.

Lumpy wind I here, but hope you all had a great day, we did.

A BIG thank's to WHKF for an excellent festival,

Regard's

Mark

I am sorry that I couldn't make it over on Saturday, the weather forecast really put me off. I hope you all had a great weekend.
Mrs B completed the Stratford 1/2 marathon in under 2 hrs so she was pleased with that.

When/where is the next festival/meet up?

Andy

Well done Mrs B, I was inspired to go for a jog this morning, just over a mile and nearly killed me!

Thanks for the kite Andy, waiting for those low smooth winds now.

My personal thanks to all that turned up, and a greatfull WHKF to you for being there. OK, we prayed too hard to the wind god! and the rain overnight was something else - enjoyed the thunder and lightning show on Friday evening.......

This is suspected to be the last festival that WHKF will do, it's to be discussed as to what happens next but the paperwork, H&S, and costs are working against the club. but I was delighted that the teams showed what we sportkiters can do when others cant. it would have been a boring event otherwise.

So, who's for Exmouth???
