We'll be there, we've been there for the last (blush) years and I can't imagine a year where THE kite festival of the UK happens and we don't come.
Love Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Needs to fly more, now that I can.

I expect it is camping at the rugby club again this year. I've emailed Avril, and I'll post details when I hear back.

Hoping to be there from Saturday morning, to Sunday evening.

Me as well.

Thanks Andy that would be a great help or otherwise it is the premier inn or travelodge for me.

Just to note, we have a third arena again this year (STACK that is) and will therefore indulge in a little Trick Out on the Sunday afternoon :-)

To book camping at the rugby club (which is a 5 min walk from the festival) email Avril at
kites [at] abc-pr [dot] co [dot] uk

Prices are £15 for one night, £25 for two nights & £30 for three nights, (per tent/caravan), payable on arrival.

Let her know when you're arriving, when you're leaving and your car registration.

OK, I'll leave little bits of paper with numbers on in the red / black kechya base somewhere round and abouts the STACK arena. Feel free to come along at any point at all before 1.30 and pick your slot. We'll aim to start at 2.00.

So that means wandering around with clip-board at 1.50 wont be required. ;-)

Just been looking at route planners to see if I can justify the trip to be there on sunday, but it looks like 3 1/2 hours each way :( which is too far for a day trip and I can't make the whole weekend.

Oh well, I'll think of you struggling for space at a festival while I am at Rougham :P

Note to all arriving and leaving on the Sunday: Bristol Half Marathon is on Sunday, so routes through the city and part of the A4 will be blocked off .. so check before travelling!

Have a look at the kite fest site.
A little download is available giving times of road closures. Most of them are rolling, so hopefully should not affect the fest too much.
