Could be about for this - were you thinking of Epsom? I was up there yesterday in smooth but light winds, and adopted the anti-dog, park up and fly in the corner furthest from the car-park tactic - seemed to work out, but just in case, I'll bring my chicken*!!!!

I am interested in coming down from Oxford on Saturday if that is OK. I was going to come to the BFD last week but had the Man flu and couldn’t make it. This could be a good chance to try my new Deep Space that I got for Christmas.
Could you let me know when and where you intend to meet?
Thanks Booty

You aren't going soft are you? I was flying yesterday in a tee-shirt (well I was in a tee-shirt after the third 360 anyway ;) ) It was about 2 deg, but it really didn't feel that cold... It'll be fine... at least the wind looks flyable, and there doesn't seem to be the prospect of any rain (touches wood).

Booty,

More the merrier from my POV. Info on where is here. As for when, there's no flying before noon, and it gets a bit dark at about 4, so sometime between those two... Assuming there's just enough wind, I'll be flying my new DeepSpace I got for Christmas (sound familiar!).

I'm sure timings will firm up on here during tomorrow...

See you there...

Depends where you look -- Metcheck has 3 gusting to 4; Met Office has 5.

May pop up if it looks good...

What a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Shame there wasn't a little more wind, but at least all the moving around kept me warm! Pleasant company and a nice array of kites and skills on display. Just a couple of snaps for your enjoyment.

Actually, I coudn't resist messing about with the Ghost photo a little...
