For a very short while I was - too windy for sticky kites so decided to try my smallest foil (3m).
Launched - got hit by gust - got wiped out - it hailed very hard - I went home :(

i was up the race track all day. took out one of my foils in a field opposite. wind was about 17mph on the meter. up went the sport 4.0......UH OH. nice jumps and scudding then a big gust out of the blue lofted me and a mate (combined weight of 20 stone) skywards and he let go giving a catapult effect to me. Supposedly 12ft in the air then across the field to have the foil in a tree and me in a fence. a mole hill took off most of my speed. my ribs are hurting as a result. AHWELL. i was demonstrating to them the do's and dont's. That was one big dont.
