Friday night trick night at The Downs (Dunstable)anyone....?

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:00 am

Pretty self explanatory, a good crew of fliers flying at one of the if not the best inland flying spot...! If you fancy a fly come on up, even the stig has made a few appearances...!

Some say.....(not really!)

Sounds tempting, is it a regular Friday thing, any meeting time or is this simply an after work gathering?

Cool. It's the Downs so if that means smoother wind and it's light I might be able to notch up another mega wrap/unwrap in front of real witnesses

I'm itching for the opportunity to try wrapping the kite up to my fists and plucking it out of the air! Gotta be done :D

If Carlsberg did kite fields ...........

the National Trust would come along and build a Visitor Centre on it.

Darn it, I'm in Luton for a training course tomorrow and would've liked to pop by on the way back... but am reliant on a colleague giving me a lift back home so :-(

However, we are thinking of possibly coming up to the Downs on Sunday. Anyone there then?
