@ plod - not sure we'll recognise you Dave, what with you being half the man you used to be and all that :-) - ooh, happy birthday btw.

At the risk of tempting fate, Steve needs to make a pronouncement for the forecast on Sunday.

Ignoring that, it's not looking too shabby atm. ;)

Any more for any more?

Haha. Your not passing this one back to me Jon. After what happened last time I made a promise not to say a word about the "you know what"

If anything goes wrong now then its down to you :D

@plod... nah - we know who you are, we know where you live ;-)

FWIW I'll pop down and have a look at field later today - no rain forecast between now and Sunday so whatever condition it's in right now will only improve over the next day or so... Sitrep to follow.

Sitrep...

You'll probably be as well to wear some walking boots / wellies. There's still an amount of standing water on the site, but nothing like as soggy as the last attempt. Still no rain forecast between now & then. Temp around 6 degrees with 5-6 mph Easterly Breeze. I'll RV around 10:30 - 11:00 with me bag o revs & airbow. I suspect there won't be enough blow for the latter, but it'll be available for anyone to have a play with should they so desire.

The wind shouldnt be a problem with the curry around. I thought I might make my special curry, we call it a "BOWL BLASTER" so we could even get the vented's going

Just as a matter of interest chaps, in light of whats on the menu, are there some toilets nearby or do I need to bring a shovel.

The northern monkeys kite group are adaptable. Here is a picture of the toilet we set up at Filey

This was our first toilet but we blew the roof off.(Need to cut back on those chillies)

And this was our house the morning after eating the bowl buster.

See you on the field boys.

Not sure that you are selling that curry, Steve. Am I the only one daft enough to volunteer for it? :doubt:

Forecast looking as good as it gets: sunny and 7-10 mph on most forecasts.

Looking forward to this one and hoping a few more of the normal regulars crawl out the woodwork and turn up, ;)
