Ok, for those who don't know me...

MY PREVIOUS POST WAS MEANT TO BE HUMOUR

Although it is factual, the NT manager on site did check with Stephen before saying yes to STACK.

I would suggest it would only be courtesy to let them know you are planning a gathering, no matter how informal, if there will be a lot of you going. If nothing else it gives them a chance to promote it, they are VERY supportive of kite activities.

Great news - STACK comes to Dunstable - I will be there around 10am.

My E2 is still grounded and if anyone has P200 spare they wish to sell on the day that would help me lots.

If you need another hand for set up just pm me and I could get there earlier.

Regards

Its a bit late coming, as I have been busy searching for a new job this week, but I just wanted to say a big thanks to Keith, Vee, Fran, Tony, Barry and all at the STACK meet for the warm welcome I received on the day.

Extra special thanks to Vee for the invitation to the Megafly - I had a blast (shame I fluffed the two point landing), and Fran and Tony for taking the time to check and tweek the bridle on my FlexiFury.

All in all a grand day out

Hope to see you all again sometime

Regards
Pete

I think we can get 3 or 4 weekends going next year with a focus on skill sharing and formal/informal(fun) competition.....

One in Filey - Date TBC
One at Rougham... SKFC 20th anniversary kiters party - last weekend in June - an event for all disciplines, bar and band in the evening.
One at basingstoke 3rd/4th august
somthing in the west?

I think the northernmonkeys will be looking to hold two meetings in Filey again this year Yan. One june/july and a follow up in September. We are having a meeting within the next two weeks to finalise some dates so we should be able to post shortly.
