Good day....Little bit more wind would have been nice, but it was good to catch up with people and meet some new flyers.

Enjoyed it despite the weather doing its best to throw everything at us except the one thing we really needed. Was nice to meet some new faces and shoot the breeze. Fogged in later though :)
Clearly, I'm part of the problem.

It was good to meet some of you. Pity about the weather and low wind conditions.

Yeah a good wind day for me and nice to be out with the peeps again. Except there wasn't enough wind to properly appreciate kites like Keith's SuperFly proto. I really fancied the idea of bashing that around for an hour, didn't happen. :-(

Great to meet up again.

Fair to say that the more skilled flyers coped better with the conditions.

Had a quick go on the SuperFly proto and thought it was really nice, even if I didn't get that much out of it. I'll blame the wind for that, even if Bryan and Mark won't. ;)

(Big thanks to Keith and Vee for bringing the Superfly down and being so willing to lend it out.)

Really nice and very rare few hours out for me, despite being banished to the naughty boys corner. - Always good to see old faces - nice to see some new one's. Big thanks to Keith for getting that old school SUL out - had forgotten how sweet they are.

Next Time

Was suffering with toothache and when I saw the fog, I thought i'd play cautious and stay in the warm

Steve I was trying to work out where I knew you from as soon as you dropped your rev bag. Ever done AS at Free fire zone or paintball ?

That SUL was very impressive, flew amazingly well.

I knew I'd seen you somewhere before, I used to catch criminals for a living so I have a good memory for a face lol.
I used to go to FFZ Nassington and later Upwood. Also did a few of the regional games with FFZ's 'Bravo Company' who I was a member of. Think I started about 2001 when frank was still running his business out of the boot of his car but gave it up a few years ago when I got ill. Had some some good times doing it and an empty wallet from blowing my money on £90 tactical torches etc etc :)
Clearly, I'm part of the problem.

Cheapskate - mine's a surefire £360.00 jobby - but know what you mean :-) More guns in the cupboard than rev's in the bag - probably worth in excess of £10K !!!! Just don't tell the missus :-)

Anyways - way off topic - sorry admin.
