The TP US definitions would be useful. Ron and Stephanie let me use them on my Tricks pages and I'm sure they'd say it was OK for the Wiki too if asked.

I would think those perhaps should be included as a seperate section for each trick. Or even a "see also" and link to the tricks party website...

Only reason i suggest that is because the TP definitions very specifically describe their preferred entrance, movement and exit of a trick that may not particularly be a good definition of the trick as it is or can be executed 'in general'.

Or even in some instances, the definitions describe a trick that is nearly impossible to do as written :P

Or right, are we meant to be importing it all? I was rewriting it!

Mind you, some of the definitions on PP's page are a bit dated. You can always edit my inputs.

PP's:

I agree the TP defs should appear in a boxout labelled clearly as TP defs for competition use.

If you're rewriting stuff as you go, that's fine, I'd say.

Peter has given the project his blessing...

Ok, I reformatted the fade

http://www.fracturedaxel.co.uk/wiki/tik ... ?page=Fade

That looks a bit nicer. Im still working out how to make it prettier and more functional.

Good start I think, any suggestions or comments?

Cheers Rob, that looks much better. Is there a way of making a template which looks like that?

If you add data to a section with none, (i.e. the way I have fade setup) you will need to change !- to !+ to make the hidden section shown by default.

We need a grammar nazi to preside over the wiki as well methinks :)

Nevermind, I keep changing it every few seconds. Once i have it 'done' I'll update the formatting page with the suggested layout.

Also... Why not have a section of the wiki for specific kites? So it also contains a list of frame measurements (alternate frames), bridles, common repairs, where to purchase etc.. etc..

Nice layout Rob.

There are templates or something in the admin panel. I'll see if I can work them out, or grant you lot access to play with them.

Yep. And any other tutorials we can find. Have a look at Rob's Fade page for an idea of what info might be on the page

Users can now self-register but still need to be put into the editors group by an Admin. If this doesn't happen then give me a nudge by PM.

Users can now also change their password, and various other personal items, including avatars.

I made a template based on Rob's Fade description that can be applied to a new page (if you apply it to a page with existing text then that text will be overwritten, so beware.)

http://www.fracturedaxel.co.uk/wiki/tik ... e=testpage
is a test page with just the bare template applied.

I moved the twisties BELOW the headings as that made more sense to me, so eg. you can see the video tutorials heading, but hide the (maybe extensive) list of tricks if you want.
