Re: Benson Gemini (somewhat beaten up)

FWIW - I had the BK Nirvana from Tamas (TuneMX) in Hungary.
If packed properly in a good lightweight tube, it doesn't cost much to send stuff abroad, you don't have to send it 'next day' after all!

Also, had a PM from Marc Moss regarding the Gemini, so thought I'd let y'all know that it went to Altocirrus in March 2010, also sent Andy S (admin) a message to let him know it had been received safe n sound.
Checking this thread, it's been through other hands since Andy (Alto), so I really hope you guys can locate her.

Hi Jay,

The Gem arrived this morning, surprisingly quick for RM

I’ve just assembled it- this is one cool looking kite! As you say it’s seen better days but I think there’s plenty of life in it yet. I’ve always loved the Gem’s shape so if I like how it flies I’ll try and acquire my own!

Thanks again for passing it on

Andrew.

Think this one is MIA :-(
Such a shame. Even if it was knackered, it should still be returned to the original owner to decide its final fate.
Maybe people should have to put a deposit for while they have the kite that is returned once the next person gets it?
Or have a fee initially to join the library? That way kites can be replaced when they are no longer usable or 'lost'
I've only borrowed the Dodd gross dvd so far, but thought I would make some suggestions
