Round 25 will be kicking off very early in the new year.....

I'll publish the official dates over christmas, but I'd thought it would be worth giving a heads up

This round is an 'Eolo' round.
Eolo have very generously topped up the two Kites that Alex Belov put as prizes - Eolo Mambo and Venice SUL - with a Neox and six caps. 8) 8) 8)

Those caps look DOPE.

I see a sales opportunity there if there are also black ones. Who is printing those, and can we just get a separate run??

I would love to be able to get one without having to both get a video together and get randomly selected.

Profit to FA? Add FA logo?

The caps are from Eolo, it's their branding. 8-)

I'm sure you could get one from Eolo, but I have six to give away by random draw for this round of VF

Oh, I see...I thought it was our resident artist's new venture.

I have seen these caps already then. Thanks for the reply!

Don't forget that VF has adopted a standard file name format. It Is....

VFRound number - name - country.mov(or whatever file extension is appropiat)

so for me this round it would be.... VF25_Yan_UK.wmv

Soooo...

So far this round, I've had 5 opportunities to actually get out and fly - at all, and for all of those opportunities (few hours on any given Sunday) it's either been raining horribly, snowing or blowing an absolute hoolie - or any combination of the three.

No play time at all during the week so down to the last Sunday to get the job done as usual.

Yeeaahh, ermmm - Out!

Drove to the beach, set up a VTD ('s like 25mph+ cross / off shore) had the tripod blown over a couple of times, wedged the camera against the bag and set a side on angle to have any chance of keeping the kite in frame and visible. Busted a couple of sets of lines and gave up. Out and back into the house in an hour. Meh.

Good luck everyone.

The weather is bad here too.... almost every day raining with very bumpy winds.
The video that I sent is 2-3 weeks old and I made it to test the Loop Recording feature on my new camera in VF's situation.
The camera was mounted on my helmet and continuously recording for hours... by clicking a single button on the Remote control I can save the last 2mins (adjustable), which is very helpful for VF entry

I tried to do more organized routine with more tricks on Saturday but the wind was very bumpy (gusts up to 30km/h) and the rotations was not good. Hours of trying for nothing...... :-(
I was so unhappy with the result that even thought about not enter this round. :-|
