Just to let all the non-STACK members know, we have scheduled Tricks Party UK and Trickout events for Weston (and all other rounds).
These are open to all but in line with my trying to treat trick competitions in the same way as IRB ones there are a few things you should know if you are planning to compete:
You must attend the pilots meeting in the morning to get your compulsory tricks and pay any fees due.
As last year, you will not have to be a member of STACK to participate. For STACK members already in possession of an IRB (ordinary STACK) competition license there is no charge, for others in possession of suitable insurance there is a £5 cost on the day. If you have no insurance then the the fee is £10 which includes temporary membership to STACK for the weekend.
The timetable is:
Saturday: pilot's meeting 9:30am at the PA tent.
TP (novice) 10am start
Sunday: pilot's meeting 9:30am
TP (experienced or masters) ~2pm
Trickout ~4pm
There is no specific rule as to whether you are novice/exp/master, it is left up to you.
Details here of the compulsory tricks (start of thread) and the rules (second page).
It would help in the planning to know if you are expecting to be competing, please drop me an email or pm, or post here.
