Noting the sign-off there. Indeed it can be done. We are doing it in the UK with the Trick Thang competitions. PM me if you want to know more.

You don't have to wait - PMs are like email, rather than instant messaging, and will wait for the recipient to sign on again. If Andy has his profile set up to do so he will get an email notification that there is a PM waiting for him.
