The 2006 STACK Event Dates are as follows;
Rougham May 21
Southampton June 18
Gosport July 16
Newbury August 13
There will be slots in the schedule for these events (2 round Thangs only). but they are all subject to someone in STACK actually coming forward to run them (I will not be at any of these events).

Stephen, there may possibly be another round of the Jaffa cake cup before that. Bad weather stalled the last one and then it was Christmas etc etc.

I don't suppose anyone wants to have a Jaffa challenge this Sunday? I guess that would be too much to organise :lol:

Could just bring the Jaffa's though...
Refusing to use the spellchick!

I know this is about Trick Thangs, but can I ask if there are any dates for Trick Party’s in 2006 ??

I am certain that there will be. However I will not be at Bristol this year.

Well the dates in the original list are STACK events. This is where STACK is running a National Competition at a festival or on a Sports Field. Because the arena is there and the PA is there etc then it is an easy thing to have a Trick Thang.

Historically there have been a number of other festivals where Trick Thangs also take place. For the past couple of years I have been organising the Trick Comps at Bristol. As I am STACK National Director as well, it sort-of made them defacto STACK events. But that is about as far as STACK went with them.

Unfortunately in 2006 my kite schedule is much less than previously (shrugs). I do expect to be helping the NKG with a couple of Trick Thangs this year, but it looks like it is someone else's turn this year for events south of Coventry. I might be able to turn up and judge at Bristol, but I certainly will not be able to set it up and run it.
