rev exp newbie

Sat Jun 11, 2005 12:12 am

 hi i just got a rev exp, the wind was crappy but i managed to get a few launches and try a few things out. i fly a traction kite and a stunt kite,(only for a couple of months) so i thought it would be simmilar to fly, but the first half hour was like dancing with two left feet!! have to say i'm impressed with its manouverability, but seemed quite slow, probably just the wind, but does anyone know if these things have bridle adjustments?? also be interested to meet anyone who flies one near Crewe

After many many many (!) hours there are some bridle changes that you can play with. But the standard bridle is all you need until then. Enjoy the journey :-)

I'll second what David has just said, just learn to fly the kite with a bit of control, then and only then start playing with the bridling, there is no easy route to success in flying a Rev...trust us, again enjoy!
