Swindon freestyle competition?

Mon May 02, 2005 7:11 pm

I know the swindon event clashes with the FWC, but i'm guessing there'll be enough of us who are unable to travel to france left behind to put together some kind of trickout or similar.

I'll willingly organise such an event if people will indicate below who will be willing to participate, and which day would be preferred.

I'll be there for one of the days, Jim - not sure which yet although I'm hoping it'll be the Saturday so that I can meet Jess. Maybe we could have a Trickout on both days? Anyway, I'm up for it.

If you let me know whats on, I'll see about finding you some space! also Jason mentioned he could be interested in helping out, but that was a while ago now, and I didn't follow it up!
If there's just a few, we could make it up in the demo arena if you're all feeling bold!!! else we'll squeeze it in somewhere. Find me once you're there, just ask for me at the club tent.

I can only make the Sunday, and only the afternoon probably at that. I was hoping to actually get some flying in myself for a change (practice has taken a bit of a back seat over the winter with the trickthangs), but if there's something on and you're really stuck I'll help out.
Jason.

If my back's better and the weather's good I might take a jaunt down there, but don't count on me for numbers... :(

I can't see me getting here. My back has stopped spasming more or less but I'm aching from my pelvis to my neck from transferred muscle pain, and I don't want to push my luck and have to put up with this for another week. Sorry guys.

No freestyle competition happened. Almost no freestyle flyers there today and the wind was coming round both sides and over the top of a hangar at about 20mph. Conditions in the arena were dreadful. Ex Grads and Matrix Management put up a good show despite the conditions.
