I don't generally go out in high winds but the vented version has a much wider wind range than the standard. Whilst this appears to be an advantage, I would expect that in winds below 20mph the standard will be the better option. I only want to buy one version at this stage.
Should I go for the standard? Also, if flying both, how would the vented compare with the standard as the wind increased from say 5mph up.

You'll get some different recommendations from other pilots, because the Revs are so configurable (framing, lines, etc), so I heartily encourage you to go right to the source, and see what daily users of all skill levels have to say about the B-Series options.
