So, where were you flying this weekend?

Sun Jan 27, 2008 2:48 pm

Wow, what a day! Sarah went ridding, so I got a morning play pass. So dropped the soft top, put on the shades, cranked the radio up and drove up to Barbury Castle (near Swindon). Blue sky, steady 15mph and sun shining - what could be better 8-). Got about 4 hours practice in, and even managed to learn the first 3 quad compulsories. Sure it wasn't pretty, especially going round a circle backwards (!) but great to have even managed to get from one end of each move to t'other. Grabbed a pasty on the way home, then cracked a tinney and put my feet up, and am just about to put on a roast for tonight. Do days get any better than this?

So what we you all up to on this first fine kite flying weekend of the year? Lets hope for many more weekends like this one \:D/

Sailor> Sweet. Sounds like you learnt alot from the Dunstable rev day!
I recently went to some Oxfordshire downs but the wind turned out too fierce and flukey
