Yes...and No
I replaced a 9 year old SLE vented sail recently with a B vented (sail only). It seems to fly well enough. There is slightly more venting mesh compared to the standard vent, but the balance is fine.
The main reason I chose it is the colour and panel mix. I don't like any of the stock Rev SLE schemes and couldn't get any satisfactory response from them when I enquired about a bespoke colour choice. The Barrresi sails are much easier on the eye.
If you're OK with the SLE choices then apart from the panel layout and the venting stripes there's really no difference (that I'm aware of) between the SLE and the B sails. Especially since the mylar panels have been dropped from the SLE's this year.
Have you got the specifics on what the difference is between the normal SLE sail and the SUL? Unless it's an icarex leading edge (not dacron) AND a lighter icarex sail weight, then personally I'd question the need for both. You can fly an SLE sail with the 2 wrap spars (or P200's) down to looow wind speeds.
A standard Rev 1 sail with it's larger area might be an alternative solution for light winds. But you'd need different spars.
