Rev Spars

Wed Jun 21, 2006 10:48 am

When I first got my Rev 1, in such an eager hurry to fly it, I put the vertical spars into the kite so that they were facing me, as in a two line kite.

Looking at the videos, I discovered they should be on the back. I changed them over, but on reflection, did not notice much difference in performance. Mind you, the weather has been windy enough a bin liner would fly! So maybe not a fair test.

Has anyone else made the same mistake I did, and if so, what results did you get?

I did the same, and found it flew (probably better than I could fly it, as it was my first attempt), and then was subsequently embarrassed when I found out I'd set it up wrong...
