I have just taken delivery of a new Rev 1.5 SLE (the vented version) it’s been on order since February it’s taken that long for my supplier to get one from America, but that’s another story.

The interesting thing is that it has come supplied with extended handles. Let’s hope this marks a change in policy by Revolution and extended is now the new standard, thus saving new Rev flyers the cost of a handle upgrade.

An alternative explanation could simply be that they were out of standard handles at the time of packing.

I have to speak to my supplier later today so may well be back posting an update.

This is indeed a change of the packaging. All new 1.5s and 1s will come stock with the extended handles.

Presume you mean the kites not the handles.

A firm called Kite Korld, based in Clacton, they offer a great deal, and in their defence I don't think delay in delivery was down to them.

Check them out and let me know how you get on.

Its prob just me, but I click on the username expecting a list so i can send a PM but no list?

You can either click the PM button under someone's post, or click the Profile button and from their profile page you can send a PM.

You can browse through the member list and there's a PM button there.

Yes, the new 2006 standard handle is the 13" UL handle.
UL Handles are now 15" long.
