<Hello and apologies for dragging an old thread back up but....>

So how does the Power Blast perform?

I can't seem to find much info on it apart from the usual product blurb.
I presume you can still do tricks with a 4-line this big and it's not just designed to pull you along.
Cheers,

Stew.

So what's the benefit over an aerofoil power kite?
Cheers,

Stew.

None i would say, harder to keep it in the power zone than a power kite, it is a fine balancing act between power and zilch, there doesn't seem to much in between, i'm sure Davey will agree, yet he still hasn't let me have ago of the beasty!!!!!!!

More power per sqm than a foil, zero lift, quicker to de-power, quicker to turn, easier to hold in one place. builds up your wrists. Gary you are welcome to fly any of my kites (just take a pick from the small selection) at any time.

I'd like to see that monstrosity head to head with a high aspect foil. I'd doubt it would have the upwind penetration necessary for any serious traction use. I tried using the Blast as a buggy engine...........waste of time!
