Airbow revisited.

Fri Oct 08, 2004 9:22 pm

Hi, I flew the Airbow again this day and must say I got on with it very well. There was about 6mph winds and sometimes a bit more. I would carve nicely when the wind picked up a bit and would propellor spin very well. I got various axels right and left handed and it would react well to stall and up and down, double wing tip stand. I could not get it to yoyo though, will look at the dvd again and try some more, I stalled the kite, put both handles in my left hand, took hold of the top lines and pulled them down sharply, the kite would rock a fair bit but would only yoyo once for me, maybe I need to extend the pull, or make it sharper?
The only thing that would not work so well was when flying it two line style/carving the wind window was very small, maybe when the wind picks up it gets bigger?
I am glad to have been able to spend an hour with it today, I somehow have the feeling it will grow on me a fair bit still, the spinning left and right sequences where realy addictive!
