Or you could buy one already (China) teabagged!! 8-)

Hmmmm....strangely the whole thread on the Revkite forum seems to have mysteriously vanished!

Perhaps it was considered unwise to have statements like this:-

littering up the official, kite-like flying device maker Revolution™'s own forum that might be construed as promoting the copying of kites in a commercial manner.

Mike,
how long has he been a member of that forum ???!??!?

I've just ordered one of these without lines and handles via an email to bing for 65 quid inc delivery, If it flys as well as my other china quads I will be a happy chap. I cannot see how it wouldnt really. If you want his addy just pm me. He will send you an paypal invoce which you can pay online. Just keep an eye on your email cus he does like to confirm things and double check, send pictures to triple check and ask to confirm your addy a few times. He also operates on chinese time obviously so keep that in mind when you're doing your emailing.
Obviously it is safer through ebay but as far as I know he has not let anyone down including a good friend of mine who has ordered stuff directly.
Clearly, I'm part of the problem.

At least Jon Bon can rest easy in the knowledge that nobody will bother to copy the butt ugly Hymera.

I wonder if that was one of the primary design aims :-k

I find it curious that Bazzer doesn't do something more with Rev, he did such wonderful work prior to going to USA that is much admired even now. A complete new range with his input would knock all these comments off.

Took delivery of my vented (as can be seen previously on this page) WSQLK from china this morning. Considering I emailed bing at 6pm china time on Friday it is a pretty amazing delivery time again. It didn't even have time for the tracking number to get in the system lol!

This is the 3rd one I've had from Albatross that has not come with the bamboo spar set, bin liner sail and bridle made of washing line! Someone on another forum said they all come with that? I am dissapointed once again! I am never going to get those plants potted and my clothing dry.

Look at all this carbon and ripstop, not a bamboo stick in sight!

The 2 white cat hairs are extra and installed my end. If you want some get your own malting cat!

I think you'll find the poor boy is far too busy sewing Pros and Zens, both of which have some of his improvements in place already.

Last post on this seems to have been 2011.
Has anything really changed in the past few years?
Official Revs still seem to be around and so do the china clones.
Just wondering about the state of the situation.

I've got a standard sail and vented sail Chinese from walkinthesky not 4mkites. I've also got a rev sle.
I like flying all 3 and use the rev with a 2 wrap frame for light wind, Chinese full sail for normal wind and the vent for higher winds. I like all 3 of them and can't really tell the difference between the 2 standard sails.
Thid is my one:
