Can't be real, surely? No fuel spilled when wing comes off, Super-clean break, no avionics hanging out, very twitchy on final approach (like a model plane would be), and a huge impact on grass that doesn't rip the undercarriage off!!!! FAKE!!!! (quite a good one though) There is a real video somewhere of a guy landing an F15 (or F16) with a wing missing. I think he was a Saudi Air Force pilot, and the video might be on YouTube. As I recall, he had his wing shot off, and someone commented on the video "Don't worry, it will polish out!".

You know what - I'm past caring any more. [-( Faked, CGIed, viral ad. for deodorant - doesn't matter. Can't get involved in the "debate" 'cos there's bound to be another one along in a minute.

I liked the video. End of. Didn't you ? :-)

It begs the question of whether he could land it on a treadmill.

Yeah it was a mid-air collision whilst test flying the F16's. The pilot hit the afterburners and turned the jet into a missle! After landing, I think it was the thing that convinced them that the aircraft was a good investment.

In this vid you can see the pilot exiting the aircraft at the end, unless that's CGI too?

OK, OK. I liked the vid... Happy now? The only reason I posted that I thought it was a fake, was because I'm only 70:30 that is it... and if it is, it's a good 'un. Not slagging your choice of video - at least I hadn't seen it before... Didn't mean to offend - sorry  ;)

I was happy before.

No need to apologise. I wasn't offended. It takes a lot more than anything you wrote. :-)
