Semi and full vent Masques **cheap**

Thu Feb 26, 2004 7:59 pm

Over at Bilbouquet they're getting rid of the semi vent and full vent Masques cheap, well 40% less than normal anyway, now at 179 Euros.

This I'm sure is due to the fact that L'Atelier are soon to be coming out with a new variable vented version, which will be pricey !

Anyone interested look here:

They said in the newsletter that they are clearing the stock because they are expecting 2004 versions,

Nope, I hadn't fallen off the map. Although one would be excused for thinking so...

No sorry, but I do have a std Masque and a home made vented X-Masque which is vented in the same places as the semi vent, both of which are very nice.

Oh if anyones interested in these personally I'd go for the semi vent cos thats what M. Mayet flys, I don't think many bother with the full vent as you'd need a hurricane to get it off of the ground (rather alot of venting ).

I think Jo may have a vented Masque ??

I have a semi-vent. Hadn't really got on with it until the Eurocup, when I used it in the Ballet in high winds. Spent some time tweaking it, and got it really sweet for precision and basic high wind tricks.

Doesn't fade particularly well, as it does not get enough lift off the sail. Cascades and multilazies are really good though.

Mine has a higher wind range than my vented Opium, but the Opium is the more capable kite and could go higher with some bridle mods.

Vented

Thu Mar 11, 2004 9:16 pm

:bigups: I've got the Rainbow Jam Vented (think new model last yr) - and its superb to fly, great colours too. Easy to snap stall in 25mph winds and easy to trick when stalled.... axels, cascades, fades - infact fades in 20mph winds ! 540's easy etc etc, can JL too but no backspins yet, infact no backspins ever cos i cant friggin do them  but 21/03/04 in Luton could change all that \:D/

Show the dog to the rabbit (not the Furry one!). We'll work on that backspin with you Neil.
