To be honest I don't think I ever will. It will be one of those kites
that every few months I put together watch the video and then
put it back in its bag.

I have not seen any other kite that looks like it - a work of
art in my opinion.

The fact that nobody can fly them is irrelevant.

I certainly got a pang when I finally rolled it up to pack it last night... I guess it's always like that when you sell a kite. Still... the price tag helped sweeten the moment. That, and the Dodd vid I sold practically paid for the Nirvana.

This 'scots_flyer' certainly gets through them... he sold me my outerspace. Anyone know who he is and what the story is?

his names Al James, he's known as Scots kite guy on Flexi forums. I think he's just another cbh/me (ie addicted to buying kites) I read somewhere on F-Forums that he's trying to down size his kitebag to just a Matrix, Dot Matrix and one other, though I forget which other)

Jim

PS If nobody else bids for that elixir, I'm going to have to step in - it's still under half price :D :D :D

DON'T be tempted thats my old Challenge and it's a dog with fleas ( if you read this scots_flyer, sorry fella).

I sold it to him on ebay a couple of months ago, I think for about £65 (£65 to much !).

It should be a great kite I've seen the videos of the designer and previous eurochamp Stefan Furter flying the thing, he makes it look fantastic, unfortunatly he's the only one. I don't think anybody who has bought one has got a good thing to say about it !!!!! You have been warned, lots of good flyers have tried to tame the beast but to no avail

Honestly if you can be bothered check this video:
http://digilander.libero.it/StuntKites/ ... ivx300.avi
(13mb) you'd think it was the best kite since, well the previous best kite, but don't be sucked in............................................................

Don't worry about me - After the surprise, I have been officially banned from buying any more kites until I've taken the Missus to Rome!

(Just don't tell her I'm still looking for a vented) :D

Take her to Rome as soon as you can. I went in August this year
for the first time and it is the most incredible city.

Fortunately in my drunken state the other night I put a bid in on the
super vented Shuriken Omega but have now been outbid. It would
have cost me a fortune in a pair of shoes for she who must be obeyed,
if I had of won it.

Hi, I have spoken to Al a few times and I think he is a nice guy, (the other one is the Gem), I like to buy kites as well and try them out and make experiences with them, (like drive 1 hour to the beach at 6am to find no wind etc,) I then decide keep or sell. I found out that I get on the most with Benson kites.
Sky,
Bastiaan.

He's definitely a good guy... my eBay experience with him was top-notch, and we buy a fair bit there so I know what I'm talking about. I just wondered what the sketch was - he always seems to be selling at least one kite.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again, if he was selling something I wanted.

I'll second what craig said about the Challenge. Awful kite - almost impossible to axle or even fly it. Needs a strong wind.
Its one of the few kites I have sold and not regreted. Infact I sold it to David Barnby who loves it. He uses BIG arm movements with it.
Funny thing is, when I bought the Nirvana the Challenge is the kite it reminded me of
