Anyone want a Skymax Evotech .814 UL and Standard?

Fri Jan 16, 2004 3:27 pm

It's possible that I might have a Skymax Evotech .814 UL and Standard on my hands that I don't need in the near future. Does anyone want these kites? 225 E for the pair, incl P+P (UK).

Hopefully pictures to follow..

I'll be honest about this, there's a guy on a dutch forum selling these two and a SUL, and I don't need these two, just the SUL, but he won't split (yet).

Anyone?

First dibs to Craig on the UL (nothing binding Craig, just making a note).

He finally replied to my email, yes. 325 E for the lot... I've asked him for photos and condition.

see the filenames for clues.

The UL is in perfect condition (apparently). He's sending me photos of the 'damage' to the other two. :|

Now some details:

Damage to standard:
1.5cm rip near nose (looks patched with clear tape)
Dacron torn on LE where yo-yo stop was glued on and subsequently torn off. (See last four photos in gallery: http://fracturedaxel.co.uk/phpBB2/nickp ... dy&sub=gal)

Damage to SUL:
Cut LE dacron for yo-yo stops
One standoff reinforcement replaced (different colour from other one)
small rip near spine.

No damage to UL at all...

Craig / Jeremy what do you think?

I reckon that the damage plus the ugly colour schemes means its a no no. Even though the UL (my dibs is perfect).

But I'll go along with what you and Jeremy want to do.

No problem - I thought that's what you might say. Just means I wait and get a new one.
