Is anyone here seriously looking at the SL7? If someone wants it, I will not bid, but if no one here is interested I might try and grab it cheap. God knows why... I'm just drawn to it.

Go for it - if you flatten the nose so it doesn't fly straight at you they aren't as weird as we once thought.

I think it might already be out of the cheeky punt range at £27. Can you even get replacements for those LLEs any more?

Wasn't flying towards you the whole point of the thing?

The LLE's seem pretty robust, they are fibre glass rather than carbon. I've broken a few spreaders but despite a lot of bouncing the LLEs have always held up.

There's a big difference between a glide when you expect it and heading toward you at random just because you reached the top of the window.

Looks like they're all out of cheeky punt territory now

Perhaps it was perceived as an older 'classic' version. It seems that there is a hint of a classic market in old kites; this Flexifoil Erazor ER03 went for it's £75 starting price, more than what it cost new?.
I bought a used Stranger a few years back for £30, sure I saw one go last year for £70+; back in 2004/05 Kiteworld were selling them off new for half price i.e.£45 and throwing in a lineset.

I see the same seller's cashing in again with another Flexi
