I haven't flown the Gallego by HQ, but I own the Over, I'm really happy with it, I've been using it as a polyvalent kite, I'm starting learning team flying with it.
You'll find some nice videos at Eolo's site: http://www.eolo.com

He means The Original. Truly great kite, difficult to find though.

Heard of the Eolo Over (Andy Preston Design so its bound to be good) but I've never heard of the HQ Gallego? Not on their web site, is this a continental market model only? What do you mean by "polyvent", I know it means multi wind in French but people seem to attach other significance to it as well?
A NOHD will be published for the DS in due course, till then wear sunnies.

I meant good for tricks and precision flying... always thought that polyvalent meant that.

The 'Over' is a really nice kite for the money. Really quite capable. Couldn't comment on the other one.

I think Laurent is suggesting that the Over is a rip-off of/heavily influenced by the Nirvana and that you buy the Nirvana instead.

If so, you could replace "Over" with any number of other kites from the past 2~3 years.

I've never heard of the HQ Gallego

It's just about to be released - My mate Dave has one on loan, so I should be able to fly it next week.

Yeah they will all end up looking the same soon anyway. What does this look like?

Any prizes for guessing!
All that matters in life is kite flying, love and work ….preferably in that order.

In the bag; Shhhhh... far too many to mention, don't tell the Missus!
