Aero Stuff

Sat Mar 27, 2004 12:41 pm

I finally found a price list and some specs. of sorts.

A1-2P ¥5.400 830mm 8.6mm 7.1mm 11g
A1-3P ¥5.400 830mm 8.6mm 7.6mm 16g
B1-2P ¥5.400 830mm 8.6mm 6.8mm 8g
B1-3P ¥5.400 830mm 8.8mm 7.6mm 13g

IF ¥1.600 110mm 7.6mm 3g
IF-S ¥1.600 110mm 7.4mm 2.5g

That means at current rates the retail price in Japan for one of these mythical sticks is £28 with a ferrule chiming in at £8. Shall we call it £230 to frame a kite ? (which oddly isn't enough to cover the difference between the SkyShark and 'Stuffy versions from Carl - and these are retail prices).

Interesting to note that Didier Bilboquet described Aero Stuff as "an urban legend" and "well made G-Force SUL". Then again he also offered a Masque Millenium for a grand so perhaps is being flippant.

Anyone for a reframe ?

Mike.

got sul's and ul's in aerostuff... nice spars, pain in the arse to put stoppers on, as they're tapered... (lots of baby oil, yeah baby!)... seem v. v. resilient for their weight... will let you have a play at berck mike (getting v. v. excited...)
