Evotech trick bridle

Tue Mar 09, 2004 1:03 pm

I remember reading on GWTW some time ago about the 'backspin bridle' mod for the Evotech .814s but there were never any real details provided. Does anyone know the measurements for this bridle, and if it really makes any difference? I *do* have trouble getting consistent backspins out of the .814s.

Seeing as the main players in that thread read this forum anyway I thought I'd bring the conversation over here. :D

About a year back, cervolant sevice were going to supply a bridle designed by the team fliers of Courant d'Air which never materialised. When I asked Thomas at Kitehouse he replied he couldn't see the need for any bridle mods - have to agree with him there. I tend to find the evo an easy kite to backspin, no real differance to any other kite as far as techniques concerned. Just keep at it Andy :)

Try adding weight to the ends of each bottom spreader by the connector.
