If anyone has a Level One Amazing out there, could they please try this and see if it actually makes a difference or if it's just my imagination.
One problem with the amazing seems to be a reluctance to rotate through the "pitch" based tricks (ie pancake to fade, frontflip to backflip, etc.)
I thought that it might help if the bridle had a certain degree of freedom in this direction, so taped together two of the legs of the bridle about 8cm from the towpoint as seen in the picture below. To be honest, I didn't think the kite would fly, but it did, and lo and behold, it seems to pitch more freely now.
I am aware, however, of the possibilty that this is all in my mind, and would like somebody else to try it to see if they can spot the difference. I found that tightly wrapped electrical tape holds it, so it should be a simple change to make.
Thanks in advance, jim
