NSE framing to R Sky 15 Specs

Fri May 07, 2021 12:02 pm

I was wondering whether you could use the same principle as the R Sky 15 and frame an NSE in a similar way so it doesn't need a tail weight?

3pt Upper leading edges
7pt lower leading edges (rather than p400)
P90 spine above the centre t
Carbon rod below the centre t
5mm top cross

I don't see any reason why not?

But why should you?

(Propably the upper spine is too weak for a bigger kite.)

Reasons ...... hhhmmm .... Additional strength in the wing tips and more weight in the wing tips for better tazes ...... but then again I get your point

Yeah, wouldn't want the spine busting through the sail
