North Shore Radical Bridle

Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:27 pm

Hello All,

Having had some fun with 9 radicals megateaming at Portsmouth, it did raise a question about bridles (and quite some variation between kites).

Does anyone know either the default TOTL bridle settings for Radicals, or even better the settings actually used by the teams back in the day (I am thinking Airkraft, but any source would be good ...)

The second question is whether the standard bridle is the same as vented or ultralight ? I think I heard that the UL (Kona ?) had a much shorter bridle than the other two, but no dimensions.

Any feedback would help get a bunch of kites in a more flyable state. The least we can do is get them all the same, but a starting point would be good !

Thanks - Tony

Having flown in the same mega-team, I can say it was definitely interesting to have 9 NSRs flying at different speeds!

This was just posted on GWTW regarding bridle setting for NSRs:

Bridle : Upper = 57 cm - Outer = 59 cm - Inner = 64 cm

Same bridle for STD, UL (Kona) and VTD North Shore.
