"Merge" LW.

Latest build:
After building the "Merge" (my hybrid design of two known open source kites) I decided to build a low wind version of the same hybrid design.
A similar but slightly different sail layout in mono-chrome colours using Icarex, this time with P100 upper leading/P200 lower leading edges, P2X spine, 5mm upper spreader and 3pt lower spreaders.
Reverse turbo bridle which did need tweaking after this first test flight.

I like that - I have a thing for kites with a dash of purple in them but I could live with shades of grey

Very nice build. It shows a good attention to detail.

Monochrome kites are always sharp looking.

Still 97% / 106%? The trailing edge looks a bit lower than your std, but it's probably the angle. How does it fly?

Yes Iftah, still the same design.

The pics are at a slightly higher angle giving the impression of a lower cut trailing edge but I used the same templates as the first "Merge" and changed the layout, less panels.

It flys great although the winds were a bit high on this test flight giving the feedback that the bridle was a bit "reactive". In the wind range I anticipate flying it I think the bridle settings will suit giving good response to lower winds. It takes me a good few sessions of tweaking on any of my builds before I`m happy
In fact I`ve just gone back to one of my earlier builds (Nazko SUL) and am tweaking the framing on that after flying it the other day
