SuperFly tailweight

Not sure if this is a common issue, but the brass insert can become unglued from the nock and move up inside the spine. If the TE gets a little untensioned and the kite feels unbalanced, check the weight isn't on the move.

Easily remedied by regluing brass into the nock. I'd recommend roughing up the brass with sandpaper before regluing so that glue has a better surface to adhere to.

Had the same issue with mine and managed to lose the nock in the process.

Good idea about roughing up the brass, although it will have to wait now.

I was fortunate not to lose my nock - was still on at an angle, somehow held there by the velcro. Luckily, it is probably harder to lose the less-replaceable weight since it won't go past the velcro (I think).
