SLK Canard Alert!! Malard - Finished Homebuild

The latest edition to my kitebag -my homebuild of Le Malard designed by Louis Sko.

Not flown it yet but am really happy with the way she looks - especially as it was made from bits and pieces lying around (hence the bright orange colour scheme). Was a great kite to build - had to use my brain as was just really following pictures and drawings :-D

Material - Icarex
Frame -4mm carbon tube
Custom fittings
Really not sure about the bridle though so am expecting this to need playing with....

It is very very light so got real high hope for those non-wind days! It glided down my garden from a simple throw :shock:

Will fly it asap and report back...

Hi
I built a mallard a while back and it is fun, wait till you fly it in some breeze. The frame flex makes it waddle like a duck, seriously funny. Your colour layout for the sail looks great. Nice kite.
