20years2lines

Fri Sep 01, 2023 9:31 am

Just seen this on Facebook.

Not really flown for the last few years, but this is motivating me to get back out there.

Thanks Grischa for a stunning vid.

Nice video.
I've recently had several really good sessions after a hiatus.
The bug still comes back stronger than ever.  Best addiction to have.  Just wish I could fly year round.
Get back out there!  :)  Completely worth it.

Nice video Jon hope you are keeping well. Not flying a great deal either. Life gets in the way

All good here, Harv.  Now retired with a grandchild, so in theory have more time to fly but there always seems to be something else that needs doing first.
Very happy memories of the old meet ups - particularly Crantock and the Better Flying Days that Bryan used to organise in Hinckley.
Flying on your own is good, but flying with others and having a good natter is infinitely better.

The main kites featured look like Hugos, but there are some others in there in the mix.

Thought it looked like a Hugo, looks very capable, are they available anywhere?

Mathias Haack and Thorsten Mikus stopped making them a couple of years ago, so only second hand now.  Certainly a very capable kite.  Slightly regret letting mine go.

Ah right, just I've been flying again recently and figure that I'd quite like a new kite :-k
